Universal Approximator Property of the Space of Hyperbolic Tangent Functions
In this paper, first the space of hyperbolic tangent functions is introduced and then the universal approximator property of this space is proved. In fact, by using this space, any nonlinear continuous function can be uniformly approximated with any degree of accuracy. Also, as an application, this space of functions is utilized to design feedback control for a nonlinear dynamical system.
متن کاملUniversal Property of Non-archimedean Analytification
1.1. Motivation. Over C and over non-archimedean fields, analytification of algebraic spaces is defined as the solution to a quotient problem. Such analytification is interesting, since in the proper case it beautifully explains the essentially algebraic nature of proper analytic spaces with “many” algebraically independent meromorphic functions. (See [A] for the complex-analytic case, and [C3]...
متن کاملUniversal Matrix Completion
The problem of low-rank matrix completion has recently generated a lot of interest leading to several results that offer exact solutions to the problem. However, in order to do so, these methods make assumptions that can be quite restrictive in practice. More specifically, the methods assume that: a) the observed indices are sampled uniformly at random, and b) for every new matrix, the observed...
متن کاملA Universal Constant for Exponential Riesz Sequences
The aim of this paper is to study certain correlations between lower and upper bounds of exponential Riesz sequences, in particular between sharp lower and upper bounds, where we show that the product of the sharp bounds of an exponential Riesz sequence is bounded from above by a universal constant. The result is applied to the norms of coefficient and frame operators and their inverses.
متن کاملA universal completion of the ZX-calculus
In this paper, we give a universal completion of the ZX-calculus for the whole of pure qubit quantum mechanics. This proof is based on the completeness of another graphical language: the ZW-calculus, with direct translations between these two graphical systems.
